Music in the Park 2026 Schedule

Music in the Park is an annual summertime series that features live music performances in Veterans Park in downtown River Falls. The park offers a beautiful central location for people of all ages to gather and enjoy a diverse range of live entertainment, often featuring local and regional musicians. Concerts are free of charge and open to the public, thanks to sponsorship donations from local businesses and individuals.

Music in the Park is presented by the Community Arts Base (CAB) of River Falls, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to facilitating arts-related events and projects in and around the community of River Falls, Wisconsin. Beginning in 1994, Music in the Park is CAB’s longest-running event.

Schedule: All on Thursdays in Veterans Park (except 6/11), 7-9 pm, Downtown River Falls, WI. This year’s rain site is Tarnation Tavern, 128 N Main St (except 6/11).

  • 5/28 River Falls High School Basie Jazz Ensemble – budding jazz musicians from River Falls

  • 6/4 Mayfair 3 – Americana with groove

  • 6/11 SPECIAL SHOW – CHARLIE PARR - internationally and critically acclaimed blues folk singer-songwriter.

    • Singer/guitarist Tommy Bentz opens at 7; Charlie performs at 7:30.

    • Food trucks will be on-site.

    • Rain site is Junior’s Restaurant and Tap House, 414 S. Main St., River Falls.

    • Note: This show will be performed in Heritage Park, River Falls.

  • 6/18 Chris Silver Band - the finest in bluegrass and Americana

  • 6/25 Trent Romens Band – modern blues/soul jam band with an old soulful voice.

  • 7/2 Little Wing – soulful, bluesy Americana.

  • 7/9 No concert – Enjoy River Falls Days!

  • 7/16 Flannel Brothers – three-part harmonies, guitars, mandolins, percussion, and a good time.

  • 7/23 Tommy Bentz Band – original blues/rock with a jazz feel.

  • 7/30 SPECIAL SHOW – SCOTTIE MILLER QUINTET – dynamic pianist and singer-songwriter with a unique blend of blues, jazz, and Americana.

    • Food trucks will be on-site.

  • 8/6 Cruzando – a Latin music adventure.

  • 8/13 Mark Cameron Blues Band – foot-stompin’, butt-shakin’ blues

  • 8/20 Denny Cooper Band – great songs from the ’50s, ’60s, ’70s, and beyond – rock, country, folk, and blues.

  • 8/27 Lehto & Wright – British Isles and American folk traditions with electrifying, guitar-driven arrangements.
