A Latin Music Adventure!
Music in the Park presents Cruzando on Thursday, August 6, 2026, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Veterans Park
Cruzando, a band with Joe Cruz on nylon string and electric guitars, Puerto Rican cuatro, and Cuban tres, takes listeners on a Latin Music adventure. With singer Estibaliz Anabella and a rhythm section featuring bass, drum set, and congas, Cruzando pays tribute to classic Cuban Son and boleros from the Buena Vista Social Club. Their musical journey also includes Puerto Rico, with En Viejo San Juan featuring the Puerto Rican cuatro. Cruzando also covers artists like Celia Cruz, Gloria Estefan, Polo Montañez, and even Santana, showcasing a wide range of musical styles.

Music in the Park is an annual summertime series that features live music performances in Veterans Park in downtown River Falls. The park offers a beautiful central location for people of all ages to gather and enjoy a diverse range of live entertainment, often featuring local and regional musicians. Concerts are free of charge and open to the public, thanks to sponsorship donations from local businesses and individuals.

Our Neighbors' Place runs the Backpack Program (food support for families with school-aged children) for the River Falls School District, and we've seen a huge increase in families needing this help. In addition, we give out food resources through our Day Center — and again, we are seeing an increase in requests for this food too.
We are looking for local potters who may consider donating bowls for our Empty Bowls event. Visit the Call for Artists page for more info.
