River Falls Music in the Park presents the Scottie Miller Quintet

Scottie Miller, the dynamic pianist and singer-songwriter, is captivating audiences worldwide with his soulful melodies and masterful compositions. In his decades-long career, Miller’s musical prowess has garnered critical acclaim and a dedicated fanbase. In 2023, Miller was honored as the “Artist of the Year” by Bluebird Reviews for his compelling poetry book and album “Carnival Cocoon.”

At the 2024 Blues Music Awards, Miller, along with his bandmates from Ruthie Foster, secured the prestigious Song of the Year award for “What Kind of Fool” (Foster/Sayers/Miller), enhancing Miller’s reputation as an influential songwriter and performer.

When not touring with Foster, Miller continues to perform in his hometown of the Twin Cities and beyond. His distinctive blend of blues, jazz, and Americana makes him a force in the music industry, and his star is only on the rise.

Music in the Park is the longest-running event of the Community Arts Base (CAB) of River Falls, WI, beginning in 1992
